T-Th Junior Sailing Class Session-2
River Rats offers summer training sessions for young people interested in sailing. Training is available for boys and girls with sailing skills ranging from beginner through intermediate, and advanced/racing. Every class includes students with no sailing experience so don't worry if your student is a first time sailor.
Boats are provided at no extra cost, but students may also use his/her own approved boat.
Classes consist of up to 25 students. We target a 6 to 1 student to instructor ratio. Many of our instructors have their Level 1 certifications. In addition, we employ an adult program supervisor who is a school teacher and remains on-site throughout the day. Students will be divided into 3 groups based upon skill level so they receive the optimal experience.
It is highly recommended to sign up for at least 2 classes, both in the same session or in separate sessions. We feel this provides a better learning experience than only attending 1 class.

Please read these instructions before signing up:
- Select "Register Now" in the the top right corner.
- If you are a member, make sure you log in to receive your 35% discount. Membership discounts are only available to family members who are active for the upcoming season. If you register early and do not register as a member for the upcoming season, your discount will be forfeited and you will need to be reimburse us.
- You should next proceed to “Who is registering for this event?"
- Importantly, you should only select "Not Me, but I am registering __ others". The blank is the number of students being registered. Do not select "Me" or "Me + Guests”.
- Please note that "Me" is the the parent (you), and "Others" is the child (student). Please don't sign up the parent🙂.
- If you see a $999,999.00 fee for "My Registrations", click "Cancel" and register again, this time selecting the "Not Me, but I am registering __ others" option. Do not worry, this charge cannot be processed but is being presented only to flag the signup mistake.
- If you are a non-member, you will be asked for your "Personal Information". Please enter your information (the parent's, not the child's).
If you are a Sustaining Member, the registration program will not permit you to register your child. Please log out and register as a member of the public.
