Swim Test
Swim Test
The Junior Training swim test entails:
Students are shown on land how to put a life jacket on while in the water.
Each student takes their life jacket off
Each student goes into the water and treads water.
The instructors toss the life jackets into the water near the respective student.
The student puts on their life jacket while in the water.
Once all buckles and zippers on the student's life jacket are completely secured, the instructors assist them getting out of the water.
The purpose of the test is to insure the students know how to remove and put on their life jacket while in the water in an emergency situation.
